The Ballet Slider by American Dance Supply is the new "must have" accessory for your barre work.
This soft, comfortable fleece wrap easily attaches around the barre with a simple velcro strip, helping to keep the dancer from coming into direct contact with the barre and thereby preventing germ transfer. It's also a great way to reserve your place!
In use, the Ballet Slider provides a little cushion for your stretches, reducing discomfort and pressure on the Achilles tendon when resting your leg on the barre. It slides very smoothly along the barre, allowing you to work on your stretches without sticking, rubbing, or getting splinters.
When performing other stretches with your hand on the barre, the Ballet Slider continues to protect you from germ transfer, and as it slides with movement it helps train the dancer to focus more on their balance and not grip the barre too tightly.
The Barre Slider measures approximately 6.5" wide, available in pink.
